We know life happens and plans change - call us to transfer your field trip to another available date at no cost, subject to ticket availability. 

Adult caregivers are invited to accompany students on the field trip by registering as a chaperone-only, or by registering as a student and joining the fun!

Adults with small children ages 1-6, check out our SPARK! program that happens at the same time as Learning Pods. For more information, check out the website HERE.

For caregivers and children not participating in the field trip:

-Regular museum admission rates apply at the front desk for your visit to Discovery Center

-Staff will let caregivers know what time to return and pick-up your student(s)

Party Policies:

• Discovery Center reserves the right to close any activity or exhibit for the health and safety of guests.
• Discovery Center rentals require a “Leave No Trace” policy.
• Reservations are required along with full payment.
• Glitter, confetti, and pinatas are NOT allowed.
• Free-standing or tabletop decorations are permitted. No tape, tacks, nails, staples, or other adhesives can be used to attach decorations to walls, ceilings, and doors.
• Food and drink must stay in the party room during the duration of the party. Alcohol is not permitted during Private After Hours parties.

Adventure Parties include 1 hour 30 minutes of Adventure Room access plus museum admission for a total of 20 children during open hours. All adult party-goers must assist in the supervision and safety of their children while in the museum or outdoors.

• Creature Feature: Meet 3 of Discovery Center’s resident creatures chosen by the birthday child!

• Wowie Zowie: A science experiment with some enormous 'toothpaste', fit for an elephant!

• Candyland: Learn the science that goes into making delicious cotton candy!

This program is for children ages 1-6 and their caregivers to enjoy hands-on exploratory STEAM learning and play. Enjoy music and motion, stories, guided activities, and more with Discovery Center staff!
